The only way to allow other users to view private items is to grant them Delegate Access through Outlook with the option Delegate can see my private items enabled. Private appointments in a shared calendar cannot be viewed or modified by any users other than a mailbox Owner.Full Details show the time, subject, location, and other details of all items in your calendar.Limited Details show the time, subject, and location, but no other information.Availability Only shows Free, Busy, Tentative, or Away and time of items.Publishing calendars with the Editor permission level is restricted due to the nature of the shared hosted environment but you can choose from 3 levels below. For more information read the article on How To Publish A Calendar In Outlook/OWA.Users with permission levels starting with Contributor and higher can only create Meeting Requests in the shared calendar. If you want users to create Appointments you need to set default permissions for your Calendar as Editor.Folder visible: Users can see the folder.Folder contact: The folder contact receives automated messages from the folder such as replication conflict messages, requests from users for additional permissions, and other changes to the folder status.Folder owner: The owner has all permissions for the folder (including the possibility to share the folder with other users).For the rare cases when the built-in role does not fit the situation you can customize them for a folder in Outlook:.Only a user with Owner level permission to a subfolder can modify (for example, rename) or grant permissions to that subfolder.If users did not create a folder, they would not be able to remove its subfolders regardless of their permissions.
